Identity

With Brexit came a lot of xenophobic and racist opinions in the UK. Even though I do not live in the UK, the news of my fellow Polish brothers and sisters being discriminated against and being told to "go home" has reached me, and quite frankly, it terrifies me and I can only hope it doesn't spread to Ireland where I reside. If there's one thing I want to make clear, it is:

I am proud to be Polish.

Poland is a beautiful country with a lot of culture, traditions and one hell of a story. History has put this nation to the test many times and even after being erased from maps for 123 years, we still managed to salvage the pieces and we're stronger than ever. 

I felt that it was very important to celebrate my nationality during this hard time and because this year, Poland has gotten the furthest it's ever been in the UEFA Champions League and we couldn't be prouder of our boys in red and white. Best of luck to them in the match against Portugal/Powodzenia dla naszych chłopaków w meczu z Portugalią <3
